Nursery Administrator
Horley - RH6 7DQ
£12.21 per hour
Part-time, Mon to Fri (30-40hrs per week)
As Nursery Administrator, what will you be doing?
To assist the Nursery Manager with the nursery administration providing high quality customer service and ensuring that the office runs smoothly
As Nursery Administrator, some of your key accountabilities will include:
Being responsible for administration duties as agreed with the management team and to understand and comply with nursery policies and procedures
Preparing and provide nursery staff with daily operational paperwork and keep all computer systems and records up to date and accurate at all times
Ensuring that all parents have signed a contract and agreed terms and conditions, that all records are filed accordingly or online, and that parents’ and prospective parents’ needs and information are communicated clearly and positively
In conjunction with the Nursery Manager, maintaining and monitoring all invoicing and funding documentation and the funding portal. Ensuring all parent paperwork is up to date and relevant. Updating the EY portal and run invoicing for the nursery alongside the Nursery Manager
Working with the Nursery Manager, effectively manage new starters. Adding to the system, booking and managing settles as well as keeping the waiting list up to date and maintained
Being aware of and complying with Health and Safety at Work Act, EHO and COSHH regulations; ensure that all security systems are fully operational and unauthorised personnel are not given access to the nursery
In conjunction with the Nursery Manager, to have specific responsibilities for the archiving of all paperwork in the nursery
Ensuring the office environment is kept clean, clear and tidy. Keeping the coffee station and office consumables stocked up and presented in a professional manner

Successful applicants will also be required to have an enhanced DBS check, provide two satisfactory references and provide a certificate of good conduct (if you have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years) before starting work with Toad Hall.

Job requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following essential knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous Administration experience (ideal within a nursery or school)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong team ethic with the ability to work independently
Ability to plan and prioritise workload, working under pressure to tight deadlines
Proficient use of MS office packages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
Desirable knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous experience of working in a school or nursery setting
Business Administration qualification
